Stowe Hill Wharf

A quick dash today to Rugby Boats at Stowe Hill Wharf for a pre-lockdown boat test.  It was a blustery day, but sunny on and off, and when we got back a rainbow appeared.  This boat test will help get us through the winter.

Hi Adam,
I've been catching up with old CBs and enjoyed the test of Flutterby - I learnt the proper term for the lump of storage in front of the well-deck! It occurred to me there are lots of terms I don't know, such as cant, and (I think)front bend which was in that review, and why the boatman's beam is there. Could you, or someone, do a feature on this? and something on lock terminology would be good too - Brian on Harnser seems to know all the bits of a lock but I start to struggle after balance beam and paddle gear! Things like quoin, collar, etc.
best wishes for lockdown and hope you have managed to winterise!
