Braunston and work

To Braunston this morning for a boat test. The forecast was wrong. It was raining when we arrived, but brightened up later, which was the opposite of what was supposed to happen. We used the bottom lock as our photo background; the little shop there is always photogenic.

Back at the boat, I got quite a bit of the write up done, then went to sleep for a few hours. I'm about to head to work, as night shifts beckon.

Hi Adrian and Adam
Sorry for having to message you via a comment, but I couldn't find your details.
My name is Oli, I'm the marketing executive for www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk the UK's leading marketplace for boats.

We are looking to create an article based around living on a narrowboat/houseboat and would like to feature your blog in it.

The article will be discussing why people are heading to the waters to live. May that be because of house prices, retirement or for a slice of adventure!

Under this we would like to provide our users with a list of some of our favourite living on a boat bloggers, to help inspire and to answer any questions or worries they may have about living on a narrowboat/houseboat.

The article will be posted on our website which receives over 550,000 views a month and will be posted on our weekly newsletter which is sent out to over 40,000 people.
If shared by yourself and the other bloggers this article will get some great traffic and more followers for you!

As an acknowledgement as one of our top bloggers we would also reward you with a badge saying that you are a top blogger which you can add to your blog page, which will link people to the article where you will be featured.

If you like the sound of this or have any questions, feel free to email me.

Many thanks

Hi Oli

You haven't left an email address, so I can't email you.

You're more than welcome to mention the blog -- but we don't live aboard so it might not actually fit your piece.

Hi Adam, that's great news.
I think people would still really enjoy your blog. The articles main purpose is to show people what life is like on a narrowboat, so I believe it would still fit nicely.
My email is oliver.nelson@fridaymediagroup.com, if you are still up for being featured and for a bit more info, please don't hesitate to email me.
Hope you are well
Oli
