Because of reasons involving work and tube strikes, I found myself with a few hours to spare in London this morning. So I went to see Doug and James on Chance, and was pleased to find James looking pretty good considering he had his heart op on Tuesday. On the way, I passed the drained part at the end of Paddington Basin, where they're installing a new lift bridge. Along with the building work alongside, it's quite a big project.

They started filling this section of the Basin with water, so think work is almost finished!
