I came up to the boat this afternoon, as there are a few things to do over the next couple of days. I stopped on the way at Tesco in Buckingham, which is only a couple of hundred yards off the quickest route between home and Thrupp Wharf.
It was pleasantly warm when I arrived, but I lit the fire anyway as it could get cold later. Heavy rain is also forcast for tonight; let's hope it stops tomorrow morning, as the first job is an external one.
I noticed yesterday that at some point between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, the Bravenet counter passed the 50,000 hits mark -- which isn't bad for just over a year. Blogger's own counter reckons we're already up to 57,000 hits -- which suggests that these counters really aren't to be trusted.
